These terms cover your use of BodyArcade and its paid plans. By playing, you agree to them.
Who we are
BodyArcade (bodyarcade.com) is made by Peak Apps Studio. You can reach us at info@peakappsstudio.com.
What the game is
BodyArcade is a running game in your browser that you control with your body through your camera, or with the keyboard. The free plan gives you five runs a day in the Alps, Desert and Forest worlds, on Easy and Medium, with the daily goal, achievements and friend challenges.
Play safely
The game asks you to jump, squat, duck and lean. Clear the space around you, play on a floor that is not slippery, warm up first and stop if you feel pain, dizziness or shortness of breath. If you have a health condition, are pregnant or have not exercised for a while, check with a doctor before you play. Younger players should play with an adult nearby. Calorie figures are estimates based on the weight you enter and the moves you make. They are not medical advice or a medical measurement.
Pro (monthly) and Lifetime
- Pro (monthly) costs $4.99 (US dollars) a month. It is a subscription that renews every month until you cancel. Pro gives you unlimited runs, all ten worlds, Hard and Insane difficulty, every runner look and your full run history.
- Lifetime costs $99 (US dollars), paid once, with no renewals. It includes everything in Pro and every future world.
- After you pay, Gumroad emails you a license key. Paste it into the game's Pro screen to turn Pro on in that browser. Please keep the key to yourself.
- Payments are processed by Gumroad, which acts as the merchant of record for the sale and collects any sales tax or VAT. Gumroad's own terms also apply to your purchase.
Refunds and cancelling
If Pro (monthly) or Lifetime does not work for you, email us and we will refund you. For Pro (monthly), email us within 14 days of any charge, including a renewal, and we will refund that charge. For Lifetime, email us within 14 days of purchase.
You can cancel Pro (monthly) anytime from your Gumroad receipt. Cancelling stops future payments, and Pro stays on until the end of the month you have already paid for. If a renewal payment fails, Pro ends when Gumroad ends the membership. Refunds are paid back through Gumroad.
Acceptable use
Please do not:
- try to get around the daily free runs or the license check, or share license keys publicly;
- copy, resell or republish the game, its worlds or its artwork;
- attack, overload or probe the site, or use it for anything that breaks the law.
No warranty
We work to keep the game fun and running, but it is provided as it is and as available, without warranties of any kind. Camera tracking can miss or misread moves, especially in poor light, and the game may not run on every device or browser. We do not promise that it will be free of errors, always available or suitable for your particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for injuries or damage that happen while you play, such as a fall or a knock against furniture. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for Pro (monthly) or Lifetime in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for injury caused by our negligence, or takes away your rights as a consumer.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the game or its plans change. The date at the top shows the current version. If you keep playing after a change, the updated terms apply.
